The jury plays a vital role to ensure that the civil government remains within the boundaries established by the U.S. and State Constitutions. The duty of the jury is misrepresented by civil authorities and misunderstood by the citizenry. The jury has a dual responsibility - to judge the LAW as well as the facts in the case. This dual role is critical in order for the citizens to defend our Constitutional Republic. It is essential that all Americans have a foundational understanding of the role, power, and independence of the jury as a check on government.
